How long for the Sun to rotate?

The Sun does not spin like a solid ball. At the equator it takes only 26 days to make a full rotation. However, near the poles, it takes nearly 34 days to go full circle! This is called differential rotation. The Rotating Sun

Places at different latitudes would have different length days. So if you wanted to visit relatives in Australia without suffering jet-lag you would just have to wait until the differential rotation made Europe and Australia line up on the same longitude, and quickly fly south!
