Since its recovery, SOHO has been performing almost as if we had never lost it at all! All the instruments are fully operational and science is once again being done with SOHO. |
SOHO was designed to do two years worth of science. However it is so well designed and maintained that it could last for up to 25 years. |
So it may be that by the time YOU start wanting to get into solar science, |

SOHO may still be working! |
