Anyway was it such a daft idea to invent Coronium to explain the observations?
After all Helium was found first in the Sun in 1868 by Sir Norman Lockyer.
You can still visit his observatory near Sidmouth, Devon. OK not another history lesson - but at least think about the origin of the name 'Helium'!
I think we should just say that the Coronium idea was an example of astronomers being very IMAGINATIVE. Now that is something that is very definitely encouraged in school - try it, it really is good for you (and for your school grades).
