In literal sense, Helioseismology is the study of solar tremors or Sunquakes. Just like the geologists learn about the interior of the Earth by studying the earthquakes, solar physicists learn about the interior of the Sun by studying the Sunquakes.

In a general sense, helioseismology is a way to learn about the Sun by studying its vibrations. The Sun is shaking so that, at any one time, some parts of its surface (and interior) are moving out while other parts are moving in. Typically, it takes several minutes for this outward and inward motion.
