The Yohkoh satellite is an observatory for studying X-rays and gamma-rays from the Sun. Launched on August 31, 1991, Yohkoh was built in Japan and the sun-observing instruments have contributions from the U.K. and America.
Beautiful, exotic shapes can be observed on the Sun in X-rays. |
