Sun Block 99

These are the people who conceived and started the SunBlock '99 project, and who have harrassed the contributors into providing their input. It is this team at whose feet any blame for shortcomings in the material should be firmly placed. Most of any credit due must go to the contributors (our solar guides), not only for providing material, but for simply being there in the first place. We hope they will provide the inspiration for others.

The site will continue to evolve depending on the resources available to us, so if you have any comments please

Dave Pike, from the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, project manager, cracking the whip and on the hunt for money.

Robert Walsh, the short-sighted visual designer from the University of St Andrews.

Helen Mason, from Cambridge University, scientific editor with a cappuccino.

Klaus Galsgaard, also from St Andrews, our technical expert with and without knowhow

who is aided and abetted by Daniel Brown when the html and JavaScript going get tough!

Jack Ireland, yet again from St Andrews, but now exported to the Goddard Space Filght Center on the east coast of the USA.

Peter Young, solar adventure contributor and project team member. Formerly at Cambridge, but now exported to Harvard in the USA.

...and don't forget our hard working teachers

Alan Yate, curriculum guru, educational consultant from Promotech, Cambridge.

Viccy Fleming, our link to the classrooms of The Downs School, Berkshire.

Not forgetting, Andy Morgan, science teacher from Cox Green School, Maidenhead, who is sorting us all out, and may even supply a photograph one day!

In addition, we would like to thank from Cambridgeshire

Keith Penn from Witchford Village College ,

Gillian Bruce from the Perse Girls' School and

Chris Otterwell from Chesterton Community College

for reading and commenting on the SunBlock '99 content. It will take a while to implement their red ink, so please watch this space!
