Animations Study Number: Combination of s28060 & s28061 St John's School students catch a flareThe bottom-right image shows bright emission at 8 million degrees - temperatures only formed when flares go off on the Sun. At all temperatures, there can be seen a lot of brightenings and motions in the active region.
