History of Electricity.
The effects of electric charges and electricity was first discovered
by the ancient Greeks. Greek philospheres discovered that when amber
is rubbed against a cloth, light weight objects stick to it. They found
static electricity.
Infact the words electron, electricity, electronic, and others originate
from the Greek work "elektron", meaning amber in Greek.
