A parity error was detected in the primary processor memory space. Since
the parity error was in an unsafe location, it was decided to reboot the
instrument. The science plan was halted at 20:00 UT and the reboot was
completed at 21:07 UT. However, the new sceince plan could not be loaded
before commanding was lost at 21:10 UT. Therefore, the new science plan
was loaded at 23:42 after commanding was regained.
A second parity error was detected in the secondary (science) processor
memory space. This parity error was cleared as part of the instrument
  reboot.

A WATCHDOG error occured at 09:15 UT. The probable cause of this error
was a communication deadlock between the primary processor and the secondary
(science) processor. It is theorized the seconary processor had failed
on DOY 108 after due to an SEU. The instrument reboot was completed
at 14:20 UT and the science plan was resumed at 15:30 UT. CDS is nominal

During the telemetry submode transition at 20:00 UT, a process deadlock
occured on CDS and the instrument stoped sending science packets. CDS
was restarted at 20:31 UT and the recovery procedures were completed at
23:36 UT. The science plan resumed at 00:15 UT on DOY 112. Prior to this
anomally, a parity error was detected on the primary processor. The parity
error was cleared during the reboot.
The high voltages on each of the GIS detectors was set to 0 to preserve
the detectors during the proton storm.
