The table was deleted while manually editing the LTB file and associated CVT files in order to correct for a previous switch in table indexes performed on DOY 209. This switch was done to allow a plan which was created by CPT with the /NEW switch set to be uploaded without aborting the studie(s) which were currently running. The next time-tagged study ran properly at 1300, but after the SYNOP at 0630, the untagged studies after it did not run until the 1300 time-tagged study. Also found that a time-tagged study at 1900 did not run, either. This is very strange since a replay through STM showed the commands as being loaded properly. Ran cpt/update to the instrument for changes made to ops_ltheta and ops_lphi in the state DB. CDS GROUND SYSTEM: nominal, updated raster 79v2 duration from 691 to 725. Imported the follwing studies: dynhel1_2, o_netw1, o_netw2, and o_netw3. PLANNING : ===== AUGUST 21, 1996 -- 224 INSTRUMENT STATUS: nominal, previous day's investigation turned up nothing, so the problem just seems to be an unexplained anomaly. CPT was run with /new, and these problems have not been seen. CDS GROUND SYSTEM: nominal PLANNING : ===== AUGUST 22, 1996 -- 225 INSTRUMENT STATUS: nominal CDS GROUND SYSTEM: nominal, began regenerating FITS files w/ CDROM data from 15/Apr to 15/June. PLANNING : ===== AUGUST 23, 1996 -- 226 INSTRUMENT STATUS: nominal, changed pointing on study NSGSCAN1/v1 to run at Aug 24 1:51 at the request of the scientist. Pointing was changed by manually editing the CVT file series_57.dt and inserting the new OPS pointing. This file was then uplinked to the instrument. CDS GROUND SYSTEM: nominal, changed the state database y-centering parameter and loaded update to the instrument. Analysis showed no unusual count rates, currents, or voltages. The raw count rate peaked at around 2200 before tripping, the voltage was around 4.05 kV and the current at 22.8 uA. The detector was reset @1509 UT while the GIS study was still running. CDS GROUND SYSTEM: nominal. Changed the following raster durations: 31/v3 from 315 to 280 31/v4 from 315 to 280 36/v16 from 1477 to 1561 38/v8 from 1644 to 1704 41/v2 from 212 to 200 68/v1 from 24094 to 24173 74/v3 from 1644 to 1835 PLANNING : ===== AUGUST 28, 1996 -- 231 INSTRUMENT STATUS: nominal CDS GROUND SYSTEM: nominal PLANNING : ===== AUGUST 29, 1996 -- 232 INSTRUMENT STATUS: nominal CDS GROUND SYSTEM: nominal PLANNING : ===== AUGUST 30, 1996 -- 233 INSTRUMENT STATUS: Instrument anomally occured at aproximately 13:26 UT when a CDHS Macro Error was detected. This error occured when series ID 3860 (table 41) attempted to start series ID 3861 (table 38). Table 38 at the time contained series ID 3845, which caused a Macro Series ID error to be generated. The reason table 38 contained the wrong series is that series ID 3845 was mistakenly loaded into table 38 by the operater the night before. Once the macro error occured, the processing of study G2AL/v1 halted and the CDS entered READY_BOTH mode. The CDS remained in this state until the study LIMB/v6 was started manually at 16:04 UT. Also lost was study GEAST/v1. CDS GROUND SYSTEM: nominal PLANNING : ===== AUGUST 31, 1996 -- 234 INSTRUMENT STATUS: Two SEU's were detected on the secondary processor. The secondary processor was restarted. The instrument was nominal after restart.
