  CDS was recovered from safe mode and a full CDS reboot was performed.
  CDS was brought down to SNOOZE mode at 16:53 UT.  The CDHS was then
rebooted at 16:54 UT.  CDS onboard clock was reset at 16:56 UT.  CDS was
then returned to READY_BOTH at 17:33 UT.  However, in the transition to
READY_BOTH, the GIS patches were lost.  Attempts to patch the GIS to
version 2.6 failed, finally ending at 17:54 UT with end of pass.
  The new pass began at ~21:04 UT.  The GIS was reset and patched to
version 2.5 of the software.  Recovery operations were completed nominally
at 21:29 UT.  CDS Science will resume at 00:00 UT (DOY 22).
CDS GROUND SYSTEM: Nominal.
