CDS INSTRUMENT:
A +X5 flare occured at ~10:00 UT. A Proton event as to was associated
with the flare. The science plan was aborted at 15:33 UT due to the proton
event. The NIS HV was disabled was a precautionary measure.
A primary event error was detected at #800017af. Parity error is in the
BOOTSTRAP module.

CDS INSTRUMENT:
A parity error was detected in the primary processor memory space. The
parity error is located in the deffered module, which requires a patch
  reload in order to clear.

DOY: 198
OPERATIONS ENGINEER(S): R. Yurow / B. Donaldson
SCIENTIST: A. Fludra
CDS INSTRUMENT:
An attempt was made to reboot CDS and reload all CDHS patches. The CDS
reboot began at 19:02 UT with a cold start, since there was a previous
error in the bootstrap module. However, commands to reload patches were
rejected by the CMS due a syntax error in the command blocks. The problem
was traced to an error in the Perl script which supports patching. CDS
was then recovered back to READY_BOTH with the science processor disabled,
the NIS HV turned off and no patches.
CDS GROUND SYSTEM: Nominal.
DAY PLAN: Instrument Monitoring.
