COMMENTS: ============================================================================== DATE: 04-July-1997 DOY: 185 OPERATIONS ENGINEER(S): C. Haskell SCIENTIST: C. Haskell CDS INSTRUMENT: Nominal. CDS GROUND SYSTEM: Some problems occurred while trying to run CPT over the weekend plan. It appears that due to the multiple pointing utilized for the GARCH studies, that it filled up the sequence tables and kept crashing CPT. The CPT runs were then broken up into 2 runs over 3 days. CPT then worked. DAY PLAN: Science Operations. COMMENTS: ============================================================================== DATE: 05-July-1997 DOY: 186 OPERATIONS ENGINEER(S): C. Therefore, the plan needed to be reloaded to correct for the problem. COMMENTS: ============================================================================== DATE: 28-July-1997 DOY: 209 OPERATIONS ENGINEER(S): C. Haskell / R. Yurow SCIENTIST: D. Brooks CDS INSTRUMENT: A NIS Setup Register A Failure System Error occured. The NIS will be reset when convenient. A parity error was detected in the secondary (science) processor memory space. The secondary processor was restarted at 21:14 UT. Note, that due to operator error, the OPS were not position correctly for the start of the study at 21:25 UT (ATRIC22W), therefore the first part of this study was performed with the wrong pointing. The reason for the detector 1 trip on the 26th was found: the studies in mk_plan were overlapped such that one two studies attempted to run at once. Detector 1 tripped. Detectors 2, 3, and 4 did not run at all. The SPECT_1 study that ran 3 hours later reset the detectors and all was fine. CDS GROUND SYSTEM: Nominal. DAY PLAN: Science Operations.
