Yurow SCIENTIST: Andrzej Fludra (RAL) CDS INSTRUMENT: A Primary parity error was detected at #800500f3 - Science Module(SAFE). A Secondary parity error was detected at #8007e04f. At approximately 18:45 UT, while loading a plan, CDS stopped responding to commands generating OBDH errors when commanding was attempted. Multiple attempts to send the pari of commands required to reset CDS failed, possible du to network issues. Finally, at ~20:16 UT, CDS was successfully rebooted. Recovery operations proceeded normally until 21:31 UT, when it was attempted to go to READY_BOTH. At this time the GIS powered up in a state in which it could not receive commands and could not generate housekeeping packets. Multiple attempts to reset the GIS were ineffective as was an attempt to run GIS patching script, turning off the 5V and 12V inputs and returning back to STANDBY then going to READY_BOTH. Finally, at 23:38 UT, a complete CDS reset was started. This was successful in returning the GIS to a known state. Recovery operations were completed at 02:11 UT (DOY 183).
