COMMENTS: ============================================================================== DATE: 11-Nov-1996 20:35:07 DOY: 316 OPERATIONS ENGINEER(S): C. Haskell , J. Payne SCIENTIST:SVH Haugen CDS INSTRUMENT: The errors that appeared in previous studies have reappeared. Due to the SERTS launch coming up, we wanted to ensure that the instrument would perform nominally for the launch. Therefore, we rebooted the primary processor. When we attempted to load the new GIS patches, we received an erroneous checksum of '7C10', rather than the correct checksum, '3CE1'. GIS would then not accept a command to reboot from EPROM. Therefore, we had no choice but to reboot the primary processor again without the new GIS patches. The old GIS patch was loaded successfully, and the instrument is now ready for the launch. CDS GROUND SYSTEM: Changed the archive disk to /cdsd2. Also, updated PSLOAD, DFLOAD, and LOADPLAN to have cbaacqi 8 at the end to ensure 8 second telemetry is loaded to the instrument.
