The target MCP Voltage for this test remains at 725V, so no change was required to the camera state. Testing consisted of running one SAS250N/v8 study followed by 5 repeats of FULLCCD pointed above the North Pole. Current draw remained nominal during this test. All testing was completed at 22:30 UT. CDS GROUND SYSTEM: Nominal. DAY PLAN: NIS Testing, (GIS) Science Operations. Kucera (GSFC) CDS INSTRUMENT: A submode change (from submode 6 to submode 5) was completed at 20:22 UT. CDS is nominal following the submode change. NIS MCP Exposure testing started at 20:30 UT. The target MCP Voltage for this test remains at 725V, so no change was required to the camera state. Testing consisted of running one SAS250N/v8 study pointed above the North Pole, then two SAS250N/v8 studies pointed on QS, followed by 5 repeats of FULLCCD pointed above the North Pole. Current draw remained nominal during this test. All testing was completed at 04:30 UT DOY 246. CDS GROUND SYSTEM: Nominal. DAY PLAN: NIS Testing, (GIS) Science Operations. COMMENTS: ============================================================================= DATE: 7-Sep-2005 DOY: 250 OPERATIONS ENGINEER(S): C. Maroney / R. Yurow SCIENTIST: T. Kucera (GSFC) CDS INSTRUMENT: CDS doors were closed at 22:25 UT in preparation for S/C maneuvers. NIS MCP Exposure testing started at 22:55 UT. The target MCP Voltage for this test remains at 725V, so no change was required to the camera state. Testing consisted of 5 repeats of FULLCCD (door closed) pointed above the North Pole. Current draw remained nominal during this test. All testing was completed at 00:30 UT DOY 251. CDS GROUND SYSTEM: Nominal. DAY PLAN: NIS Testing, (GIS) Science Operations. COMMENTS: ============================================================================= DATE: 8-Sep-2005 DOY: 251 OPERATIONS ENGINEER(S): C. Maroney / R. Yurow SCIENTIST: T. Kucera (GSFC) CDS INSTRUMENT: NIS MCP Exposure testing started at 23:58 UT. Due to limited NRT prior to running the test study (FULLCCD), no chance was available to alter the camera state prior to the first raster of the study. Following the first raster, the MCP Voltage was set to its nominal value of 0x64, which resulted in MCP Control Voltage of 3.5V. The target for the remaining rasters will be 751V. Despite high proton levels, initial current draw during the initial exposures at 750V appears to be stable. Testing consisted of 6 repeats of FULLCCD (door closed). Current draw remained nominal during this test. Typical current draw during the rasters performed at 750V was 2.86/2.85mA. Current draw remained stable throughout the test. All testing was completed at 02:00 UT DOY 252. CDS GROUND SYSTEM: Nominal. DAY PLAN: NIS Testing, (GIS) Science Operations.
