Solar cron jobs

This is a list of the cron jobs running on solar.bnsc.rl.ac.uk - and serves 2 functions;

to keep track of all required jobs being transferred from the solg2 and cds5 machines
to serve as documentation for the admin of these tasks on solar

Purpose:	This job updates the mk_point gif images on a a daily basis. These are displayed on the CDS Pointings webpage.

tftd_update_cron

Purpose:	Calls IDL procedure "/cs/idl/util/help/fill_tftd" twice - without and with the PROG keyword. The resultant .sav files are /cs/data/info/1liners_user.save and /cs/data/info/1liners_prog.save. From here TFTD will pick them up.

clean_search_enginefiles

Purpose:	Cleaning up /scratch/tmp directory for search engine files. Calls; $> `find /soldata/wcat/tmp -mtime +1 -exec "rm" {} \;` which removes all files in the /soldata/wcat/tmp directory that have not been modified in the last day.

ssw_batch

Purpose:	Update SSW tree. Full command is "/solsoft/solarsoft/gen/bin/ssw_batch go_update_ssw /solsoft/solarsoft/site/logs/update_ssw.log". The instrument list SSW_INSTR is defined in "/solsoft/solarsoft/site/setup.ssw_upgrade". The database list SSWDB is defined in "/solsoft/solarsoft/site/setup.sswdb_upgrade".

update_soho_private_data

Purpose:	Synchs EIT, MDI and Trace fits files to solar: /archive/private/data/planning/eit/ - using rsync.
Status:
Notes:	[20-Dec-2007] This job has been stopped. Private (EIT/MDI/Trace) data is now rsync'ed here from GSFC On 18-May-2009, the solar:/archive/ disk has become full!
