NORMAN LOCKYER OBSERVATORY

In 1912 Norman Lockyer founded his own observatory on Salcombe Hill near Sidmouth in Devon. He called it the `Hill Observatory' although now it is known as the Norman Lockyer Observatory.

It is still used today and is run by amateur astromers. For more information you can visit their web site from the link on our "Links" page.
